Privacy Policy

Theme Drift: Compare & Diff ("the app") is a Shopify app that helps merchants compare theme files. This page explains what data the app accesses and how it's handled.

What we access

• Your store's theme files, via Shopify's read_themes permission, to show file-by-file comparisons. The app never modifies, writes, or deletes anything in your themes.
• Your store's domain and basic shop information, to operate your account within the app.
• Whether the one-time unlock has been purchased. Payment itself is processed entirely by Shopify — we never see your payment details.

What we don't do

• We do not store the contents of your theme files. Comparisons are generated on demand each time you use the app and are not saved anywhere.
• We do not access your customers' personal data, orders, or any storefront-facing information.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

Data retention

When you uninstall the app, your store's session and settings are automatically deleted from our systems.
